Society shapes us. We feverishly await his approval and his praise of the appearances we show him.

With this painting I wanted to represent that even if we are outside the norms, outside the social style, we are beautiful and precious. 

We can be happy and succeed even when we are not a perfect copy of what is expected.

This painting is for me an encouragement to all those who assert themselves as they are, without judgment and in overcoming the inhibiting gaze of others.
