Silent.

One might think

he knows exactly what to do.

That he was born for this.

But no one sees

everything that came before.

The missed leaps.

The falls.

The hunger.

Hundreds of times,

he jumped too soon.

Hundreds of times,

too late.

Sometimes,

he didn't even touch anything.

Just the void.

So he started again.

Again.

Again.

Until his body understood

what his mind didn't yet know.

Today,

he leaps once.

And that's enough.

But this leap

is made of all the others.

All those no one saw.

All those where he failed.
