So I painted it that way.

One gaze towards yesterday.

Another towards tomorrow.

On paper, pigments absorb,

like experiences in an existence.

Every trace remains.

Every layer tells a story.

Lucas is not a stable face.

It’s a moment of life

caught between two directions.
