The painting "New Papa Noël", which I created, is a representation which denounces the excesses of our contemporary society by illustrating an alternative version of commercial Santa Claus. Indeed, through this image, I wanted to express my disapproval of the loss of values and morality in our society.
The new Santa Claus wishes to convey an unstructured, asymmetrical and authentic image, far from the smooth and commercial world where everything is beautiful and perfect. It appears to be constructed from recycled and miscellaneous materials.
